GamesCast 11

With James back on deck, the Gamescasts are back to normal – well as normal as they can be with McLoven and Chris around.

James found some interesting easter eggs and that prompted a series of questions of the worth of parts of games and their strengths – all leading to their value and the impossible question, “Was this game successful?”

I'm jumping in on the latest episode since I've just discovered that channel, but I'm digging it already.
On the topic of easter eggs and the developers teasing, Ed Boon who develops Mortal Kombat series is known for trolling the fans. He claims to this day that there are still secrets and easter eggs in MK2 that people haven't found, but since he's such a notorious troll no one can be sure he is telling the truth.
There is a few examples out there of single player games with tacked on multiplayer that was actually pretty cool, Assassins Creed Brotherhood comes to mind, The Last of Us had some pretty intense multiplayer, I was even surprised how much fun I had with friends playing Mass Effect multiplayer.
